I'm a big fan of my friends only journal. I have still managed to meet some amazing people and still protect my personal happenings from the general public and search engines.

Yeah... I went ahead and made 731 public entries friends only... I'll still make random phone pic posts and stuff that will be public, but I need to excise some people and some drama from my life, and too much of it stems from here.

I'm not worried about it too much, I'll still make plenty of friends.

Howdy. I've met you guys a couple of times, most recently at Mark and Tom's (My partner Todd and I are friends of theirs and we have a house in Oak Park).

I'm a new LJ'r and just curious about this post and your decision to make most of your posts friend's only. Could you elaborate for a newby?

As you'll soon discover the nickname "Live Drama" has merit. Just use caution in what you say and who you say it to, definitely use the filter features, and make sure you screen or completely prohibit anonymous comments.
