Uh, no. Lake Lanier may be up from it's minimum a couple months ago but we're still 17 feet below normal and 13.5 feet below where it was last year. And even with the recent rains you still get stuff like this:
I've been thinking that I need to be careful and not let myself get overcommitted to things, and that I really shouldn't be volunteering for more stuff around work until some of the other stuff quiets down. However when that stuff is "help get a student gaming club up and going" I think I'll make an exception...
Of course I'll never know if that vote was actually counted since we're using the damn touch screen machines. All in all, I wasn't real happy about the voting procedures overall

I'm used to worrying about students being distracted from studying for finals by gorgeous weather with temperatures in the 70s. It's just that it's normally the exams in question are the exams in May, not in December...
2) It'll soon be possible to turn a Prius into a plug-in hybrid without losing trunk space. Yeah I know it wouldn't be even remotely cost-effective but still. Now if I really wanted to go whole hog, get some solar panels to generate the electricity for it.
Apparently the San Diego City Council passed a measure instructing the city attorney to challenge the ban on gay marriage. The mayor had previously stated that he was going to veto it. Instead, well just watch:
