National Writing Project. You might have done Northern VA Writing Project stuff before--that's just the local chapter. It's pretty much how professional development is supposed to work, and does, except not anymore if their funding is stripped.

ha, sorry... i've been super-spoiled in the southern Appalachians as far as beautiful goes, but that's reassuring. are you a U Idaho alum? i was thinking about doing grad school there if i can find someone on the faculty that's doing interesting bio research.

i am. i was there from 2003-2010, less a year, and another year shouldn't count because i was 16-17 years old. graduated this may with a degree in history and political science with a minor in journalism
