I spent my whole morning devouring this treat and was sad when I had to stop halfway because LIFE. Continued during lunch but that was a bad idea cause I knew Michiko-san was gonna die but I just wish it had been after her party with Nino and Kato. She was so happy then D: she had a good life though.

I'm sad it wasn't a happy happy ending but it was a good sort of happy ending and that's life. Also, loved the Sakumoto but loved even more that this wasn't all about them <3

I have to read the letter to Sho later since I skipped it. Was already tearing up when she passed on I didn't want to bawl in public at the letter.

This was a great fic. Thank you!!

I definitely wanted to go for the more bittersweet ending on this, so unfortunately Michiko had to die at the worst/saddest time LOL. I'm horrible ;)

I started writing this and I realized later that it's a really long time before they even meet face to face. So that was fun and different for me!

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I'm so glad the cake on its own was worthy of a heart. I made myself so hungry writing this, so at least Sho got to enjoy it!

I'm happy you liked it, it was a fun story to tell! Thank you!

I'm pretty sure I know who wrote this with the way my heart was so invested in all the characters. Just. So. Beautiful. I'm all 😍😍😍 about all the relationships with Michiko-san, and the depth of characterization for all these people. And of course the depiction of Sakumoto just pulls on my heartstrings in all the right ways. Author-san, thank you for this wonderful piece and otsukaresama ~

Yes and No. Both the pieces you wrote that I read I loved, (though gotta admit I loved EM a li~~ttle bit more cos it had less of scare factor LOL). It just hadn't occurred to me that you'd written both. I really should just not make such silly assumptions. So beautiful and can't wait to have the excuse to re-read now that you've re-posted in your journal.

Yay! And happy new year dearie! xxxoooxxx

This was heartwarming and touching in so many ways. I adore Michiko, and her relationships with the people around her were so sweet. The Sakumoto was also brilliant - I thoroughly enjoyed watching them go from "this is so improper" to "screw it". And I'm glad they were able to be together, in the end, even if the whole will business didn't work out.

Thank you, and Happy Holidays!

I liked Sakumoto struggling and wishing they weren't so gosh darned attracted to one another. These two just generate the silliest situations :)

I'm so happy you liked it, thank you!
