I was reminded of this story today...

When I was in Vegas for my 21st birthday, I was sitting by the pool at our hotel playing blackjack. To my right, a man in his thirties was playing hundreds of dollars at a time..and losing. i have a valentine, though it was unexpected.

at least i dont have strep throat like last v-day!

So my boss and I went to a dedication/ribbon cutting today at the old Orlando Magic practice facility downtown that's now being used as a place for the inner-city kids in Paramore to go after school and hang out, have tutoring, etc ( Read more... )

i'm at such a good place in my life.

-school is going well so far, really trying to get focused. my classes are actually interresting which helps and i like my professors a lot (at this point...) and i've got my internship set up for the summer already. i'm really excited to see a totally different aspect of the law.
