Never Already Not Yet 03/?

Xander and Angel sat side by side on the couch watching the clock.  The numbers on the bright green face slipped by much faster than Xander would have liked-faster than Angel would have liked, too, he suspected, as the vampire grew progressively more still and tense as time passed.

Xander fidgeted nervously when the clock switched to five-forty ( Read more... )

This is great! I love the whole vision thing and that no one is a 'bad' guy in your 'verse. Fantastic set up for a 'do over' and the part about Murphy was fall down funny. The dialogue is great and very in keeping with their characters. I especially like the father/son relationship developing between Xander and Angel. Can't wait for more.

Oh, what an interesting story this is turning out to be. Now, just what will change in the 'future'/past that Xander is dreaming about? Already one thing has changed...Xander knows about Angel. And has moved in with him! Wow! So looking forward to the next instalment. And yes, Murphy as a PTB was very funny.

Heya Cathy! I'm pretty solid on what I'm changing and what I'm keeping. It should be interesting enough. And yeah, Xander knowing about Angel was the biggest change, so far. More bizarre parallelism soon. Thanks for the feedback, it warms my soul like chicken soup with less spill issues!

I find it patently impossible to think in black and white, so 'bad' guys are very fun for me to write. They're like the minor characters in the HP-verse. They're my crack. :) I am pleased as punch (Hawaiian punch, natch) that you like the vision thing and the father/son relationship I'm creating for Xander and Angel. Thanks for the lovely feedback, hon!

Oooh this is so great, I love how it's Willow in this 'verse who's all "Vampires are ALL bad ALL the time ALWAYS RARGH". And just type fast ;)

:) I'm just switchin' it around a bit. (okay, a lot...) Thanks for the encouragement, it makes for a happy JeansVenus. I shall update again as soon as I can (I have to go do some work on a neglected WIP).

This is such a great story! I especially love the interaction between Xander and Dru. Xander is so in character. I could really see this happening!

Thanks so much! I'm having fun playing my two seers off each other while keeping everyone as 'in character' as I can. I'm glad it seems plausible to you, hon. Enjoy!

Ooh, just found this and read all four at one go.

Um... more now? Please?

Love the interaction between Dru and Xander. And I'm especially excited to learn how the whole Angel-losing-his-soul thing is going to work out now. If, of course, you're still going that route. :)

*g* grasshoppers these days. No patience. :) Pleased you like it (particularly the Dru-Xander interaction). I currently don't plan on changing the whole 'Angel loses his soul' bit, but steps leading up to it will be rather different.

Thank you for reviewing...I love feedback like I love coffee!
