Ever promised to fill someone's prompt on an anon fic meme and never went through with it, finished, or failed to post?

I check old memes sometimes and I wonder what happened to those people.

I posted the first part of a fic on a meme once, promised more, and then just lost all inspiration for it. ._. I still feel a bit guilty.

i think the memes die so fast that people who take more than a few days to write get discouraged and don't bother. or other writers start reposting and we all think it's over. :(

And it's a shame because I'd like to see more fills.

it really irks me when someone says a certain pairing is "dead" because it's highly unlikely that it was ever real to begin with, so why make a big deal over it?

Is this related to writing? Like, do you mean people complaining about a pairing getting no fic?

ah, well, it's more like...i've seen a lot of people going, "akame is dead. you shouldn't ship them anymore." but it's not like they were ever really fucking in the first place so let fangirls be fangirls.

MTE. I used to say that but ever since RyoPi left NEWS I'm insanely jealous of people who can just keep going with their "dead" pairings. >.

Is it bad taste that I like porn that's actually vocal? Like, not necessarily dirty talking, but I enjoy it when there are "mmm"s or "ooh"s or whatever, rather than just writing that so-and-so moaned. I generally only see this in anime badfic (lmao "hnngh, oh gods!" etc) so I wonder if it's one of those things that people don't do because they consider it badfic? Anyway, would like to see if this would work in good porn fic.

To me, it looks silly to have a character say, "Aaaaangh." I prefer things like "long moan" or "drawn-out groan," because every person will imagine the sound differently. "Mmm" makes me think of Campbell's soup.

But that's just how I read it, and why I avoid writing it that way. :)

In general, I suppose that "mmm"s would be better because it's showing instead of telling? XD I started watching video porn and that ruined porn noises for me (I automatically mute before I start a video now, the sounds are so bad), so I have an easier time imagining it's a sexy groan if I don't know what it sounded like. >.>
