Mid-year Resolutions

Ali has inspired me to force some direction into my summer with her goals list (and fulfillment of some of them!). I have managed to get some things done, like reading A Clockwork Orange and reorganizing the heck out of my room, so that there are now land mines of donate piles scattered about (the cleaning process is very messy ( Read more... )

Perhaps go back to Dragon Gym! =D

I'm going to be trying to learn French over the summer, do you think that part of your non-recluseness could be talking French with me and helping me? Pretty please?

ha the Dragon Gym days were a nice experience, but I'm more of a exercise in happy seclusion at my own pace. sometimes I still count in Korean just for kicks though. :D

and Bien sur mon amie! perhaps we could learn Spanish too somehow and Ali can join us!

Yes! It will be a whole language learning party. Tea party. Which really can't be more English. Which would be funny. In an ironic way.

Still loving the icon. I swear, one reason I can't wait to be in the states is that I can walk right into Barnes and Noble and just sit down with a pile of them. Until I'm dragged out by my hair. Because they closed ten minutes ago.

oo language tea party! learning "Please pass the tea" in four languages would be a rip-roaring good time!

oo I'll join you in your breaking and entering quest. those books are worth incarceration. they're THAT good.
or you could just break into my house and I'll let you borrow a bunch. :D
