Well, I'm nearly done with what I was doing this time on my genealogy pages, that is, adding links back to the parents for those people who I actually have pages for the parents (or just the parents' names if I don't have a separate page for them).. Though I'm really, really hating my Quaker relatives at this point, LOL.

I wish Saturday would get here already, LOL. I want to watch the next episode of Doctor Who. I did at least find out today that my season pass from Amazon's instant video service apparently also covers the second half of the season (despite being listed as "season 6, part 1" in their description), because the prequel for "Let's Kill Hitler" was ( Read more... ) -
Star Wars ebooks
I bought the Thrawn trilogy as ebooks about a month ago, though I haven't had much time for reading of late, so I just finished with re-reading Heir to the Empire yesterday. It reminded me of how I felt 20 years ago when I first learned that there were going to be a series of Star Wars novels, and how excited I was by each book in this trilogy as ( Read more... ) -
Trailer for the second half of Doctor Who's season 6
I loved Rory punching out Hitler, never suspected the bit with River (I'm still wondering if it's a ruse of some sort on her part), and had to pause it to read what it said about the date/time/location of the Doctor's death from back at the beginning of the season (and laughed at the name of the lake). Tree trimming
Thanks to last night's insane storm, there are numerous trees and branches down in our neighborhood of Kettering. I don't care what that damn Jamie Simpson says on TV, that had to be a weak tornado, not straight line winds. anniversary
Today is my parent's 41st anniversary. I wonder how many of my cousins who are married will manage that feat. About half of the ones who are married now have been divorced in the past, and so has my brother. -
Selling some stuff from my closet
I'm debating whether or not to let these two guys I work with sell some of the old toys I've got my closet for me on Craigslist (since I've never used it, and they seem to have pretty good luck with it, not to mention make some fairly nice ads as well). ( Read more... ) -
