It also makes me feel a little sad because you just know Mary thought about things like that, that she wanted this normal family.

I feel so sad for her and their entire family. They've all had such rough lives. Poor Winchesters...

Me too. It's so much more bittersweet when you think about what will happen to her a few years later. At least they got this time to be a happy little family.

This is so cute but it also makes my heart hurt a little because it makes the contrast to how Dean's life actually turned out so much sharper.

Oh, I agree. There was so little time for them to be a normal happy family. No wonder Dean holds onto it so tightly.
