I liked it.

I don't always leave reviews but I am reading this one.

Are you going to write a sequel?

Glad you enjoyed it.

I know a sequel is indicated by the way this ended, but I'm not prepared to start that anytime soon. However, I may write the story/chapter where they go to Dagobah to find Yoda, because the Vader/Yoda interaction would be so charged.

This was a wonderful surprise to break up a hot and humid week.

And a wonderful sense of family between Vader, Obi Wan, and Luke. It seems only just that while Vader enjoys that family, it will always come with a little guilt when he hears the name he shared with his clone.

And it would be interesting to see what kind of Jedi order this family would start. Maybe loosening rules on attachments and love, seeing more possibilities than the old one.

I've enjoyed every word of this story and am very much looking forward to whatever you decide to write next.

I think his memory of Anakin will keep him honest. Anytime he thinks he can't do better, he'll be reminded that it is within him to do exactly that.

This universe has a lot of possibilities. A Jedi Order restarted not just by Luke, or even Luke and Vader. A different dynamic between Luke and Vader than the usual one where they've already been at great odds with each other.

Even though this story ends up in much the same place as That Which Remains, it arrives there by a totally different path. It really feels different to me how life will go on. With far more hope, I'm thinking.

Dammit. I'm crying again.

That was fabulous, as always. And I love the fact that Vader still fights it, that he knows he doesn't deserve to have friends, to have the droids, to have his children. And yet, there they are. Because he is given the gift of a second chance.

I love that it's not "all better". Vader will always mourn Anakin on so many levels. He still has to atone for his sins with any remaining Jedi. And of course, there will be the rocky road with his children.

Le sigh. So good.

That's the hard part of having Vader turn back to the light and survive. His deeds are too grave to simply be washed away by his choice to turn back. There will always be a price for what he has done.

Thanks for all your comments!

Thank you! The possibilities do stretch on endlessly from here, don't they?

Ahhhhhhhh a very satisfying ending! I love that you even brought the droids in! And that they haven't forgotten Anakin, his sacrifice... *sniffle*

Thank you for this wonderful story.

No, Vader always needs a little reminder to keep himself on the right path. He just can't seem to do it by himself. At least he has lots of help around him this time.

Thanks for reading!
