Did you hear that Midwestern squeal all the way in the Pacific Northwest? I knew you were working on this, and I'm glad to see it.

For someone who claims they don't like writing about politics, you have some very intriguing bits of it in this chapter. So, senators are plotting against Anakin, and Mon at least knows about it. An underhanded scheme against her father, might be what it takes to make Leia fully accept him. If Luke can keep him alive. I wonder if poor Luke has anything approaching a private life, or if his father has simply taken over his life. Wheels within wheels. Want a new chapter very soon.

Yes, I stocked up a few chapters before I posted this one so that I can keep posting on an even schedule.

And as for politics, this is the story that kept presenting itself. I tried to stuff it away, but in the end, I had to accept that this is the scenario I find most realistic.

And Luke will continue to have his hands full, and he's finding it's getting a little old.

Yes, as mlgm said, it's got quite the political slant. The good news/bad news about that is that to find inspiration, all I have to do is look in the paper:)

And you're right, Luke may have gotten more than he bargained for in Anakin, but he can handle it.

I'll be looking for your new icon, and the next chapter of DG (hint, hint).

Hooray, a sequel! I've been eagerly waiting to read this--"The Vader Chronicles" and "Come With Me" are two of my favorite SW fics. :)

Terrific beginning! My favorite section (of course!) was the Luke-and-Vader interaction in the middle. The "were you using your nice voice?" line made me smile. Was that an intentional nod to the end of "Come With Me?"

Looking forward to the next chapter!
