Update on Jeff
He was released by the Padres well over a week ago and recently picked up by the White Sox. He's currently playing for the Charlotte KNights and I wish Jeff the very best!

Davanon update/back in California
I didn't realize this until I read the transaction today. I guess the Oakland A's had signed Jeff Davanon to a minor league contract the other day and then today they called him up to the major leagues. I hope he does well.
