"No more yielding than a dream"

Twice now in the past few weeks I've died in my dreams. Two weeks ago while I was visiting my parents in Ohio:

It's the first day of another year of high school, and I'm the new kid in town. During attendance the teacher discovers I'm in the wrong classroom which of course garners snickers from my new peers. She sends me to the vice principal's ( Read more... )

well.... take a degree of solace in that dreams of death are usually representative of transformation and change. I have dreamt of my death many times before. It is disconcerting and creepy.

Is it possible, as to the first dream, that the shootings at NIU are weighing on your mind, perhaps more than you've realized? I actually dreamed about a school shooting recently and I think it's because I'd been listening to the reports of the vigil held there that day.

The other dream, I don't know. I don't really know you, so anything would be wild guessing. I might say, "You're dealing with issues with your father, and you feel like he's supposed to be in control, but you're not so sure he is and you're worried about the end result." Since I'm not a dream analyst nor a psychic, that's probably way way off. Maybe you watched a movie or heard a story that influenced your dream. I've had dreams of that sort before, too, and it can really throw you for a few days, but usually they come to nothing.

how did you feel when you woke up?

hope it's not indicative of anything bad, but yeah, very possible at least thinking about a transformation. . *shrug*
