THOUGHTS ON OPENING FOR THE MISFITS

Opening for a band like The Misfits is both a dream come true, and an opportunity that any local band would cheerfully kill to have.  It does, however, come with a price, and can be a mixed blessing.  The cost of a local club bringing in such a legendary act is prohibitive, making your own paycheck a grand total of $0.00 most of the time.  Don’t ( Read more... )

It was pretty awesome, but don't feel too bad about it. I'm willing to bet about 200 people who showed up couldn't get in. It was well beyond sold out. Thanks for the sentiment, though.

So sorry we couldn't make it. Jason's schedule didn't permit and since we couldn't be sure he could get off, we couldn't get tickets in advance and I knew I'd end up turned away at the door if I made the trek down there. Glad to hear you got positive feedback from the audience afterwards. I get a little pissed when people don't show the proper respect for your greatness. ;p
