Jelgate's Two Cents-Faith

I guess after stellar episode like Space and Divided they all can’t be winners. That is not to say that Faith is in any way a bad episode. Its just I think it does not live up the previous. I just think it lacked a central story to pull it together and while a man of faith I think the writers tried to be a little too political correct in people who ( Read more... )

I shouldn't admitt this but I looked at that for about 5 minutes before I realized

I knew they were incorporating Huffman's pregnancy into the story for awhile. I didn't think the turn down of alcohol was because of TJ's pregnancy. I thought it was more of the sales pitch of rubbing alcohol.

I agree that it was nice to see this episode that not all the answers were there. I' hesistant that this planet was their for the Destiny.Life just tends not to be that kind. It does make me wonder what the reason for creating a planet in the first place

He was in Space. I think it was mostly brought in because the actor playing Riley has another project

A fellow friend said it was obvious about TJ being pregnant.

That kind of thing is tricky. Does she look pregnant because AH is pregnant or because she's playing pregnant? (I didn't pick up on the pregnancy, but I never do IRL either. And my own pregnancies were physical-symptom-free, except for sleeping a lot, until the third trimester.)

RE: the religious aspects - well, I'm always happy when any sort of religion gets a mention in mainstream entertainment, because for the most part it's so invisible. But assuming you know God's will? Not a good idea. And what amounts to deifying whoever built the planet? Also dodgy. And pretty darn narcissistic, to assume that it's there for THEM.

But OTOH it's something I can believe people would do.

Husband and I were both surprised that TJ would confide in CHLOE. But maybe TJ just had to; or figured that Chloe would figure it out.

I find Rush such a hypocrite after he (and Young and Wray) learn that people want to stay on the planet. I never thought that Rush was any sort of ( ... )

Well the thing is she didn't look pregnant. Either from camera angles or Huffman not being that far along. And she wasn't showing the major red flags yet. It was mostly fatigue which is an indicator of pregnancy but it could be others

I do agree it was quite a leap. I'm all for Faith but I wouldn't take such a risk without some proof.

I found confiding in Chloe quite strange but it may be Chloe was the main person who noticed major problems.

Its not so much a pacafist. Its his flipping views. First no military force in Divided but he is okay with it in Faith. But I did like the chess board

question is, is there anyone on Destiny who doesn't know she's pregnant now? she's told Chloe and Scott, and in 'Lost', she's talking to Dr Park.

it wouldn't have been a pretty picture if Young had found out through the grapevine.
