Circa April 25, 2024
This one came late. We had a mild winter through until the first day of spring; then it was dreary for weeks, and everything stopped. We're full flowers now.

Bursting Day 2023
This one came out of nowhere. Thursday and Friday we were still all sticks; then everything burst Saturday, April 15.

Bursting Day 2022
It's been a beautiful, mild spring in eastern Massachusetts.
Since Saturday, things have been bursting; but I'm going to put a stake in yesterday, April 20, as Bursting Day 2022. -
Bursting Day 2021
It's long past, but LJ has been being difficult.
Anyway... April was glorious, and it was hard to choose a single day of burst. But Let's call Saturday, April 17, 2021, an early Bursting Day. -
The time of Bursting, 2020
I thought we'd have an early Bursting Day this year - we didn't really have a winter, and have had flowering trees for about a month. But about two weeks ago the weather turned cool and rainy/snowy, and spring just plain stopped for a while.
