I don't know about the practicality of my advice at your school, but do what I'll do: skip the assemblies!

They're long, back-breaking and pointless. I probably would have ripped my balls off if the MLK assembly had lasted any longer (NEARLY TWO FRICKING HOURS!) simply to make a statement... And a really big statement at that! (No pun intended.)

Sure, you'll have to hide and sneak past the tattle-tales and guards... But then you can pretend that you're a secret agent.
