Stealing some Jane Eyre icons, the sight of which has shaken me out of my current North and South trance. I fell in love with that movie last week, and am in the middle of the book. So, would you recommend Cranford as my next venture into period dramas?

I really enjoyed Cranford personally. It's a lot slower than most modern adaptations but I think that fits the story. And it's really sweet!
