Just a reminder...keep praying for Gretchen and Merritt! I don't have any news, but they continue to need your prayers on the long road to recovery. Pray that Merritt will heal quickly and have patience and be relatively free from pain. And pray for Gretchen as she plays nurse and needs to keep everything else going ( Read more... )

Update from Natalie on Gretchen and Merritt:

July 24
Merritt is being discharged from the hospital this afternoon! He and Gretchen are thankful to be going home. Since the surgery he has not been in as much pain and when I talked with him he sounded good. What a big answer to prayer!

My latest projects have been baby knits! A handful of mothers in my church have had babies in the past few months, and it has kept me busily knitting.

I have quite a few more knitting projects that I haven't posted yet, but here are the latest ones for now.

The latest on Merritt and Gretchen is good news!

The brief info from the site:

7 pm: Merritt's surgery went well and was successful. He won't need a skin graft, praise the Lord! They hope to go home Monday or Tuesday. There is a lot to learn and do but they are very thankful.
