I have decided I prefer Goodreads to Shelfari.  They have about the same functionality, but Goodreads has a cleaner, more elegant interface and -- big selling point for me -- you can leave comments for your friends on individual books, not just on their profile page.  It makes it a lot easier to have discussions about specific books.  So come find ( Read more... )

So I just finished reading Breaking Dawn...

Well, that was kind of a slog. I don't think any of the books are great literature, of course, but I've enjoyed all of them except this one. It could have been told in 300 pages instead of 700 and maybe I wouldn't have gotten so bored. Whether I would have liked it or not... well...

According to the Twitter page, they're working on making it viewable internationally, and they suggest using Hotspot Shield in the meantime.

I just noticed that if you put your last.fm username in your profile it says it will automatically populate the Music field with what you're currently listening to.  So I'm trying it out.

New Amsterdam was on at its regular time last night -- Mondays, 9:00pm. It was nice to get to see three episodes in one week; too bad it's almost halfway through its run now.
