The difference is psychological. You have lives behind you. Probably a C130 chap can adapt faster. the rules are the same; Aim point, centreline, speed. cross wind? crab or wingover.
I would disagree on this. You're right that the rules are the same, but I don't see why the knowledge that there are lives behind us would affect us psychologically such that we would adapt less quickly.
I'll mention this the next time I have lunch with a friend who's an ex-fighter jock now flying commercially and see what he says.
