Does it feel like the end of the year is rushing at anyone else? I feel like its totally right around the corner. Here it is, only August, and I feel like Christmas is next week. I have an entire semester to get through first. Its very weird.

I just found out my Mom is in the hospital... she went in last night due to an infection caused by a bad bite she received on her hand from my brother's cat. My brother says they say she'll be fine, but not out of the hospital until Monday. So if you could send good prayers/vibes/thoughts her way, I'd be thankful.

Ok, one of my girls is graduating the 8th grade today. On Sat I am attending a grad party for her. She and I have started this tradition of bringing each other words defined on note cards on Sundays that we learned that week.
