It is officially summer for me, and I'm really happy about that. But I'm honestly not feeling that excited. I feel like this summer is going to be severely lacking in the friends department, just like school. Friendships that I thought would last a long time have just vanished. I can't really comment on your friends from the bus, but speaking of Maryvale specifically, who did you really plan on maintaining friendships with? Because honestly, I didn't expect to talk to anyone other than you and Leiha on a regular basis. You guys were the only people that I hung out with outside of school consistently, and its stayed that way.

Well actually I didn't except any bus friendships to last, I'm really not talking about those people at all. And its not even that I expected a consistent stream of connection between myself and some people, its just that I expected SOMETHING. Like, a "hello, i know you and we talked everyday for four years."

i hear you. i thought id hear from a lot more people, not regularly but at some point and ive found that really few cared. ive heard a lot about towson being sparse in worthwhile people. dont sweat it girl, the people that matter will stick around and the people that are asking how youre doing probably really do care. i hope summer turns out better than you planned and i hope i get to see you. if you need to talk you know im here

thanksss. its not that towson doesn't have worthwhile people, it really does if you look in the right place. its just that SOO many people at Towson came to the school with twenty good friends from their highschool. A lot of people had friends already and its really intimidating walking up to a group of people who already know eachother well and trying to make friends.

eff that. youre totally worth it. i mean i understand, id be the same way, but i say go for it. i bet they really would love to have you and just dont know to look outside their tunnel vision. im sorry its like that. i hope it gets better. if you want youre welcome to come party at hood anytime next year. i think you'd like the people there.

i put this on ashleys thing about gym meet and i wasnt sure if you were interested or if you were planning on going to gym meet but if you want to youre of course more than welcome.
