A wonderful update!

I like seeing Grace, Danny and Steve spending time together and the McDanno banter was spot on during that hike. Also, Danny is so intent on not letting Steve know his true feelings for him that he's missing the clues that Steve keeps leaving for him.

And I like seeing the team all working together on the case--very true to the show.

Lastly, I like Rachel too and I hope she's not too badly hurt and I like how much Danny still cares for her but I don't think Steve will react well to yet another attractive woman taking his Danno's attention from him :)

You're so right about this. Steve is trying to make sure he gets the message, and all Danny does is put his hands on his ears and go "lalalalalala". Which is also very mature of him.

To tell you the truth, Grace sneaked her way into this story. It might sound absurd, but in the original concept, she wasn't even in it. But then again, the original concept estimated something like two thousand words, so yeah, it doesn't count for much. LOL
Anyway, once she got in, I found myself thinking that her relationship with Uncle Steve should have more space.

I hope the case will make sense in the end, I'm not too good at making up murders and stuff like that. I always go back to "the butler, with the poison, in the library".

News on Rachel is be the first thing in next chapter, so I won't anticipate anything. Not even on Steve's reaction.

Am loving this story! And we don't mind at all that it's early. Or short. Do we?

I love that the dog in question is a Newfoundland. I have one laying at my feet at this very moment. My Kashmir could be a dinosaur! Except she's too sweet. If I can get it to work, I'll post a link to her, in case anyone is wondering!

OMG, she is so cute, I love Newfies, they're the kindest dogs and they are just so big and fluffy and affectionate. Thanks for sharing the pictures, and kudos on the name, I think it fits perfectly. :D
