going bonkers

urges are insanely strong since I got back from vacation. yay for seeing penguins but boo to these feelings. I think I am stressed and worried about school. Orientation starts on the 5th and I have to manage a mandatory BBQ at the college and then a formal dinner with the Faculty of Medicine staff and students. ARGH! I followed you here from the utoronto group, hope you don't mind. I just want to let you know that there are some other people dealing with the whole SI thing, fighting the need to self-destruct. I don't have any advice or anything though. Just wanted to say that you're not alone.

Accessibility Services offers confidential services to students with disabilities at the University of Toronto. Each student who is registered with the Service is matched with a disability advisor who specializes in his/her area of disability (learning disabilities, chronic health, mental health, physical/mobility, etc.). The advisor reviews the student's documentation and puts in place appropriate accommodations, if required. The advisor, as well, can act as an advocate for the student if concerns arise surrounding the student's disability, professors, academic faculties and/or course work ( ... )
