So... I'm moving in 2 weeks & 4 days. Well, that's the official moving date. The Pro Cleaning service is going through the Condo on 5/18, and once they're done I can start moving my stuff in.

If you're an adult, especially over 30, and can afford movers? DOOOO EEEET.

Everyone I know who's done it will never move themselves again.

Agree - once I hired movers, decided that was the way to do it always. The key is making sure EVERYTHING is packed, and EVERYTHING says on it which room it goes to. Bright colored stickers for each room makes that super easy - and pleases my office supply fetish. :)

I HAVE AN OFFICE SUPPLY FETISH TOOOOOOOOOOOO oh man I am craving Post-Its something fierce.

My sister used bright neon orange duct tape to mark her boxes when she moved. Works too.

Movers. So worth it. We used them on Jan's place, and it was absolute heaven. We used different colored duct tape to tag the boxes for different areas (office or garage).

Also, if you need a dining room set and chairs, we need to get rid of ours to make room for the one we got from Jan.

I hate moving. I've done it a lot. I'm kind of a pro at it. I hate it. A lot. I can't bring myself to pack things up if I think I might need them again. I always wait until the last possible freaking second, and then pull an all-nighter and spend all day too. Ugh ( ... )

i didn't go into detail about the place... really i'm not sure i actually even said where i was moving to!! i think i was kinda waiting for it to be a definite oh yeah.. and then life kicked into high gear LOL
tomorrow will post the "I'm movin' and it's awesome" post... and after the cleaners go through... pictures!
for now... bathroom beckons... ugh!
