this is pretty exciting! The Gilcrease museum has a small collection on display of Taos art, and I've never actually been to the Fred Jones Museum to see what they have, but this is bound to be great.

So today is the first day of my baby sitting adventures with little six-month-old Marley Fagbenlay. He is the son of my friend Elsa. His daddy is Nigerian, hence the funny last name. Now here is one creepy guy. I went with the old lady to see Hairspray, and John Waters had a cameo as "the flasher." I hadn't seen the original, so this was my first experience with the musical/movical whatever it is. Actually, I was impressed with the movie's depth on many levels.

On Saturday, there was a wake in the honor of the person who killed himself at the Stonewall. It was held at the home of someone who used to bartend at the Stonewall, and remains good friends with current employees and friends that knew him. Yesterday, millions of people worldwide gathered to watch concerts and town hall meetings about the climate crisis from Democratic candidates. I hosted one of these parties in Stillwater, with 12 people in attendance. While this was a success, there were some questions that arose that should be addressed.
