Currently netflix is showing Manufactured Landscapes.  Definitely worth a watch.  Its about photography by Edward Burtynsky, a Canadian photographer from Toronto I believe.  One of my instructors from Focal Point had the pleasure of making prints for this brilliant man. They also attended the same school at one point many many years earlier.

Sunday nights shoot at the Red Room was awesome!!!  The lighting, my settings, my model were all spot on and fun.  Holy shit I've never laughed so hard during a shoot.  Dallas is awesome!!!  I started the editing process during mass sleep deprivation, I couldn't wait to see the images.  For once I can pat myself on the back.  As many know, I'm ( Read more... )

I would like to take a moment to wish all the great mom's out there a happy and wondrous day.  Thank you for all your hard work and devotions to putting up with our shit. :-D

I also do make-up.  Which I should note, I've put back into hobby status as I don't have the time and energy to devote all my time to, as I'm far too busy taking photos.
But on occasion, a friend will ask me for a favor, in which I respond to with a yes.  I was rather glad my friend picked this make-up design, as I've been wanting to  do this one ( Read more... )
