Spoooooky
Ok, well not entirely.
Hung out with a couple of very awesome people last Thursday night, at Mountain View cemetery. We took some photos, played with spinny things (staffs and hoola hoops) and did a little star gazing.

Descent's 5 Year Anniversary
Once again another year has come and gone. Descent is leaving its 5 year mark. I'm honored to bring you once again, another photo booth. Hopefully more people will show up to have photos taken. Cyber steam was a little quiet in the back. Perhaps everyone was feeling some what camera shy.

Elliott Erwitt
This man is brilliant. I think he needs no introduction. Most people oddly enough have never hear of this man, its quite sad.
He's mastered the decisive moment, the juxtaposition, and has this immediate connection with his subjects. He's excellent at making the photograph about the subject, not himself. In saying that, to better clarify, You ( Read more... ) -
Theme change
This is totally frivolous. I changed the theme in hopes this is easier to read. I couldn't help but notice, the lack in contrast in the last theme, made things slightly straining on the eyes. If this theme is still of the suck, let me know, I'll look for something better. -
Deja vu - packing, I feel I've done this before ;-)
Once again I'm preparing to embark on another music festival adventure. I'll be bringing the beasts and also working on a few long time projects I've been pondering for the last year. I'm not going into detail, you'll just have to wait and see.
Until then, I shall think up an essay to post on a favorite photographer to kill time.

I didn't take nearly the amount I was anticipating.. but I took some. They're fairly boring but mildly amusing. I anticipate I'll be taking many more at Basscoast.

Howdy! Finally some content to post. derp.
Theses photos are from the Cyber Steam night held at the Red Room by the awesome folks of Descent Sundays. I held a photo booth in the back room, as I always do at such events. I suppose I won't be shooting this weekend, as it appears to be raining. Such as Vancity..lol
Perhaps I shall devise another plan.
