I have just returned from a job interview in South San Francisco. Yeah, it went great. Fantastic even. For the first time, I felt confident about the position I would be taking and was ready to start today. I was there for 2 hours taking numerous tests demonstrating my computer skills. I got hired on the spot, but it's my first job ever, and I don't think anybody else applied.

i hate my job and want to slash my wrists every day around 9:50 AM if not earlier... but I'm SO glad I'm not unemployed in SF right now.

I've never had anybody hire me on the spot, even after giving really good interview. 'I still have...' is a rather good sign, I think; if they weren't interested in you, they'd thank you for your time and not specify how many interviews they had left (or not.)

Eh, I've heard the "I have more interviews" line a million times now. However, I do agree that if they were not interested, I would have just received the thank you and goodbye. *Shrug* I don't get my hopes up anymore... but damnit, I was a hell of an interview! I'd hire me.
