It's been some time since I've posted or even really visited Livejournal, sadly. It makes me nostalgic for the days when I would almost daily come here to read and catch up with people. Wow! It's been a long while!
If anyone out there is still following me at all...well, RL has thrown me a LOT of curve balls lately. I've had multiple surgeries these past few years as well as discovering I had genetically inherited renal disease ( Read more... ) -

Well, it's the end of the year almost and timr to send out cards. While I still have addresses for many of you, who knows how accurate they still are. Almost 2014!

At the closing of the year...
So...2013 has been quite the struggle. While I'm certainly not in as bad a place as I was a year ago, recovering from surgery, it certainly hasn't been any less stressful. Still seeing doctors and still being overloaded at work. Having to make some hard decisions too because of the crap being dealt to me by the higher ups. Who knows what 2014 will ( Read more... ) -

It amazes me how much less time I have to just randomly be on the internet as I hit that age group that must trudge through their long work weeks and focus on getting in that paycheck. It makes me sad to think that I've neglected LJ all this time ( Read more... ) -

About to go into surgery tomorrow...the first of what is likely to be two...so there goes my entire holiday season...
RL is pretty much kicking me down... :(
