Love and agony, braided elegantly together. Beautiful.

Love and agony, indeed... that's a lovely way of describing the situation. They can't ever do things the easy way, can they?

Thanks very much, and I'm delighted that you enjoyed it. <3

I was on the verge of tears the entire time i read this, on the brink of anguish, through the precipice was made of hard and sturdy, undeniable, love.

*le sigh*

Wonderful read.

Love... God, yes. That's the one saving grace here, I suppose, in all the angst and awfulness.

*passes the tissues*

Thanks very much for the kind words, and I'm delighted that it pleased. <3

I was so pleased to find out you had posted something new, and such a nice long story too! I made myself finish work and get tucked into bed before I read last night, and it was a treat. Had to come back to let you know how much I enjoyed it. Delicious angst! I could picture Holmes's expression when Watson was breaking his heart - you did a lovely job (I can't believe I'm thanking you for dragging me through the ringer) :-)

Oh, thank you - that's so nice to hear! Stories read at bedtime when everything else is done are the best of all (at least for me!), so I'm doubly flattered that this hit the spot.

Poor Holmes, yes... Watson had his reasons, but of course that doesn't really make things better. I've been rather cruel to both of them this time around, but I'm glad you enjoyed it anyway - thanks again for the kind words! <3
