I'm speechless...oh my...poor Holmes, so much pain!! This is so bittersweet that I now would like a continuation of this *blush* What does he think when he wakes? He DID hear Watson say "selfish bastard" after all...

Thank you! Poor Holmes, indeed... the film did beat him up rather beautifully, didn't it?

We'll see about a continuation - the muse is rather fickle, but I admit it's a tantalizing idea ;)

Oh good!!

My muse is fickle too but I still think those two are very inspiring.

I've read this over and over and never can think of anything good enough to say. the writing is so rich, so lush, searing, electric, and comforting. so visual and sensual. Foggy and elegant. Vision greys at the edges....superb. and watson's scratchy fabric agains his cheek, his hand comforting on his hip -easy lie still-...visceral. all so visceral. Something I strive for in my writing and sometimes just scratch the surface of. You are it's master.

Thanks very much, dear! That's quite a lovely compliment, and I truly do appreciate it. <3

This entire sequence in the film *does* have a very visceral quality to it, I think - that's part of what I loved so much about it on first viewing, and so I'm delighted to hear that a bit of that came through for you here.
