Oh, BOYS. How something can be this lovely and this painful I do not know.

OH BOYS, indeed! Lovely and painful seems to be what they're best at, for whatever reason.

Thanks very much, and glad you enjoyed ;)

Oh, brilliant. Yes, if being beaten to a pulp means a massage, I can see why he does it, too...

Hee! Yes, Holmes definitely has his reasons - bruises fade, but a Watson massage is priceless ;)

Tender but with a dash of melancholy. Me likey. Any chance we could get a ficlet where Holmes has to return the favor?

Thank you! I do like the idea of a reciprocal ficlet - Watson needs massages too, after all - but the muse is infuriatingly fickle.

We shall see ;)

Your touch here was so delicate: painful but sweet. Oh, you make me happy, even when you make me sad, because I'm always glad to find you've written something. Well done!

Oh, thank you - what a wonderful compliment!

*blushes*

Painful but sweet is a pretty good synopsis of their relationship in general, I'd say - angst comes easier than fluff, at least for me. (MORE'S THE PITY!)

And as it happens, your very kind comments never fail to bring a smile to my face... so I suppose we're even, as far as that goes ;)
