I went in for a lupus check-up with Dr. Goel this morning. I checked out well - it looks like I'm in remission again! That's the best news that I've gotten all year. She'll see me again in December, and if I'm still in remission, I'll only be checking in twice a year ( Read more... )

Thank you! I was very grateful to my rheumatologist for all of her work. It was tough going through the initial diagnosis and then having a relapse. Have had to work through a lot of fears (namely, needles), but I finally feel like my joints are back to themselves - it's such a wonderful feeling gaining back something that you lost!
