I officially morph into a three toed sloth every monday. I try to do something useful with my second day off each week (usually a tuesday), but on mondays all I have to do is bum around, catch up on some sleep and play netball later on. But hey, I bust my butt at Maccy D's all weekend, so maybe I deserve to catch up on my sleep all in one go ( Read more... )

Squee, it's so great to actually feel attractive every once and awhile, it raises your self confidence/esteem tenfold. Also feels good to know that you look good in front of guys who shot you down years ago (and weirdly enough this has happened more than once in the last few days). Aarrr, been a shoppin'. Kayla is a bad influence, she loves to spend my money for me :P In an attempt to look purty for Gem's 21st shindig tomorrow night I've gone out and spent more than $150 on my outfit, including new shoes, accessories and an $80 pair of jeans (I generally never spend more than $50 on pants).
