Also got the New Super Mario Bros, which I don't like nearly as much but I suppose I'll get into it once the EBA effect wears off. It's still pretty darn cool to randomly

2. Sweeney Todd was awesome - although I'm a huge Sondheim fan, so I'm bias - great music. Lots of blood though, hehe - but what would a musical about a muderous barber without blood be? It would be...Dracula :P

Thanks for the uber long comment and the advice, I feel special XD The main arguement for this Acer is that it'll be cheap and easy to organise, and it'll get me a laptop in a time where I'm very reluctant to spend my money...

But I shall be considering all of my options, trust me :)

Aargh I'm pissed because my DS just cleared my long and laborously typed response XD But here's the gist.

Not sure how much he wants because I think in all his uber generousity he wants to give it to me, but I wouln't be comfortable unless I offered him something...

I gather you're just after something that will do internet and maybe run Sibelious, etc, which I think this Acer would handle just fine. Maybe if I decide it's not super enough for me I'll refer it to you :P

Best place to get laptops. Their real store is in Adelaide.
Most are ex-demos which have been stripped of all their crap components and replaced with supreme ones. Meaning awesome laptops at low prices.

I have no problem with Acer for laptops. All my laptops have been Acer and all have served their purpose until I want to upgrade (easier to buy a new laptop than upgrade components). Performance is great, this coming from someone who compiles a lot. I agree that Toshiba and Asus are great but I wouldn't touch Sony with a pole of any length. Sony = Cheap parts for big bucks.

Just make sure you don't get a Celeron. Dual Core or higher!
