and then you'll leave, and you'll miss it but not soo much, because you keep feeling like you're just on vacation or something, and then a year goes by and its hits you that you aren't going back, and this is your life now, and you're sad but everytime you go back the life you once lived is more and more foreign.
but eventually you make new friends, and have a job you love, and enjoy the life that you are now living, maybe not more, but differently.
it hurts a lot. do you see now what i meant when i said enjoy it while you can? it's so short. but you're strong! and tough! you'll kick the world's ass!
but you took that step because you needed to, and it made your life so much more rich. you grew up and out, inside and out, and when you came home we could all notice it. and when you returned, we all knew it would only be for a little while. all your friends from Boone still loved you.
none of that will be any different when you go to the real world and come back for a shorter visit, even if it's years down the line. you will grow, you will love everything, you will inspire people to love and learn as you do, and you will always have friends you made in Boone.
so, while you may not feel ready to leave, you know that you can. and you don't feel ready to stay, but you don't have to, as long as we get a letter or phone call now and again.
ASU will miss you. your friends will miss you. your childhood and teenage years will miss you. but it's easy enough to re-visit all of those things.

you've got the wanderlust. It's not so bad once you get used to it.
