Why are you going to Missouri?

Shawn's mom and I are flying out for a week to visit family and for my future SIL bridal shower. It will be the first time Shawn's grandparents, aunt, uncle, and brother get to meet Sophia.

I'm feeling super guilty about the trip because 1) Shawn's not going because he can only afford to take one week off this year and that will be in October for the wedding and 2) we're going over Father's Day. This second fact had me in tears when I realized it, I mean sobbing hysterically, but Shawn, being the amazing wonderful husband that he is, has said repeatedly that it's fine.
