Can I just say how much I hate Windows 8?! We bought a new laptop last week after much procrastination and it came with Windows 8. It is one of the most frustrating and confusing operating systems I have ever worked with. I move on the mouse pad and things just happen,  then when I try to make those things happen on purpose they don't. My mouse

My computer does that with Windows 7 too. What brand did you get? I got a Sony Vaio. I find that the touch pad is hyper sensitive, even the slightest touch will move/click the mouse. And Every once in a while things go all weird. I'm not a huge fan and now I wish I'd waited and bought a Mac.

We got a Lenovo. My hubby, the computer geek, stood by the brand even though I had never heard of it. I like everything about it, except I'm not totally sold on Windows 8 yet. I guess I should look up troubleshooting tips.

Lenovo is typically a good brand, so I would definitely guess most of the problems are operating system related.
