My Screaming 16mo old

I need advice. Sophia is in the screaming-at-the-top-of her-lungs-when-she's-trying-to-communicate phase. To say the least, it's exhausting. She's says about 30 or so words, including please, help, all done, and all gone; so she knows how to communicate these things and does so often throughout the day. I had this with Riley, except he wasn't very verbal at that point, and he still does it a lot when he's angry. So I try to give him words for the emotions he's feeling - sad, angry, frustrated, happy, excited, tired, scared, etc. It does get worse before it gets better. I don't have any books, but hopefully someone will.

"The Happiest Toddler on the Block" came highly recommended. I picked it up today, so I'll let you know how I like it/if we find it effective. I'm also working on introducing a few emotion signs to her (mad, sad, tired). I know this to shall pass, I'm just hoping I don't have to sell her to traveling gypsies beforehand lol.
