Too good to last
ASU lost power and computers this afternoon so we're up at our church. I'll hopefully come home to a house with electricity this afternoon.

Fireplaces rock!
We ventured out to my Mom's house. She's without power too but has a fireplace. It's much warmer. Lots of trees down and power lines laying around - sad and scary. The word is that it might be Friday before we have power again. I think ASU has power so I'll actually be glad to go to work tomorrow. Thanks for all the good wishes. Ice ice baby
I'm iced in...no electricity...bored 9 yo...yuck! It may be days until we have power. I may try to get up to work to see if they have power. On the positive side, I can finish reading Lord of Misrule. Yay!

By the time I realize it's Monday, it's almost over
It’s been such a nice quiet day at work. The students have the day off. Just one more reason to look forward to summer.

A night at the Orpheum
We drove to Memphis last night to see a play at the Orpheum Theatre. I hadn’t planned on going. But I get emails from the Orpheum and they had certain floor seats on opening night on sale so I took them up on the deal. Weekend adventures and a new sorting
This was an interesting weekend. We cleaned my daughter's room on Saturday. It was so bad. When we've told her to clean her room lately, she's apparently been shoving everything under her bed. Twilight DVD
Just a squee-worthy tidbit I just read on IMDB...
"Catherine Hardwicke has said that she filmed a scene with Robert Pattinson taken directly out of 'Midnight Sun', the unfinished novel by Stephenie Meyer telling the story of Twilight through Edward's perspective. Hardwicke said this scene will be on the DVD."
Wonder which one.
