I've got myself a new job.
I start on Monday.
The commute is going to be about half as long as the last job.
I'm making less money, but in 3 months I get a big raise.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I am so proud of my boyfriend! He and his band are on their way to Nashville today to be a part of the Americana Music Conference. They were chosen to play one of the showcases on Friday night, and they seem to be one of the few, if not the only, unsigned bands playing.

Yay!!

Is it wrong that I'm counting down the minutes until I can leave work and get a very large alcoholic drink?

My aunt has lived in New Orleans for the past 20 years. We hadn't heard from her until yesterday when she called from Houston. Her house was 1 block from the 17th Street canal that was breeched the other day. They've most likely lost everything ( Read more... )
