Last night I got an IM from my bathroommate, the one who is going to be an SLA. We had to switch rooms earlier in the summer, but we were still on the same side on the building (one side has an ocean view, and the other has a parking lot view). I guess mad people have been having housing issues this year...it's not just Pepperdine. I know a bunch of my friends from Simmons got letters asking them to live at home because they just became aware of the fact that they don't have enough space. That and they're breaking roomates apart and doing crazy stuff. A bunch of students at CalPoly also were asked to live in 'alternative living spaces' until rooms became available. Basically they're asking people to live in converted lounges or laundry rooms with 5 to 7 other people until enough people either drop out or get kicked out of housing. It's crazy. So at least you still have a room! Yay...you can get all ur packing done in time...I have faith in you. Love yous! XoXoX
