Late Bills

The bills were due a month ago. $200 for insurance, $50 for natural light, $150 for water, $254 for electricity. They left the lights on all the time, it kept the dark at bay. They wanted release, they wanted vengeance, they wanted more than anything to leave but couldn’t figure out how. They had both lost their jobs back when they were still
