Perhaps this is some consolation for the horror last Superbowl.....the Celtics have won the championship! It's their first time since 1986, and they beat the Lakers right here in Boston with an impressive 131-92! Now basketball is not really my game, but I will gladly take hometown sports pride where I can get it. Rock on Celtics!!!!

I keep saying YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH! (and ooooh why couldn't the Patriots pull it off....) That would have been three of the big fours Boston ruled over!

Right?! That's the same thing I've been doing! In fact, when the UPS guy came by yesterday (we discuss sports) we had to agree that although we wanted the Celtics to take the sting away from the Superbowl, it did in fact NOT. We also agreed that it was probably even worse than the Bill Buckner World Series catastrophe. Could Superbowl XLII be the biggest regret and shame in Boston sports history? It's looking that way!
