This weekend, I took my PADI confined water scuba diving semi-course. I say 'semi' as its only the first half of my PADI open water qualification, that I will complete in Croatia in 3 weeks. This in turn will allow me to spend the last 3 of 5 days actually diving properly. I could have finished it in england, but .... well Croatia's Sea with

Congratulations!

I did mine in Portsmouth. In the sea. In November. In a leaky, badly maintained diving club drysuit that smelt of a combination of talcum powder, rubber and other people's sweat. That was not fun.

Have you done the theory test yet?

Yup. Theory and stuff in a pool. For my own peace of mind, I'm going to do some more pool work, just for practice before i go.
