I may have just efiled my DC tax return incorrectly. I could be arrested at any moment now. The police patrol our neighborhood frequently so it shouldn't be too inconvenient for them to swing by and pick me up. It was all just a little too complicated with the four income sources and two states situmuation

Oh wow. How long would you be at UA? Lydia and I did almost a year apart and it didn't kill us. In fact it made us stronger. But much more than that would've been a real strain. I'd say two years tops.

A quick look at Southwest shows roundtrip tickets from Birmingham to Columbus for less than $200 and Mapquest says it's only a 7 hour drive. Hell, you were driving 4 hours when it was just Birmingham to Mobile. Or you could meet in the middle at Nashville, which would only be like 3-4 hours apiece. You have plenty of friends that would host you for the weekends.

Just a thought.

Oooohh..good observation! And too true...you did make the 4 hour trip quite often, Jenny LuAnn. Three more hours isn't awful...and meeting in the middle is a good suggestion too.
