You would think that with all the deiting books, magazines, websites, etc. I've read since starting the diet program, I'd be pretty smart about the things I eat... even when I don't read the nutrition content right away. Looking back on 2009, I don't guess it was such a bad year. It was the first full year that I haven't gone to school. Wow. That's hard to believe. I am happy to report that I am 2 (count em, two!) pounds away from my goal, and I've got 18 days left!  This is just super.  I feel great about how I eat, my exercising plans have skyrocketed, and by the end of the day I just feel so good about what I've accomplished, which is absolutely wonderful when it comes to keeping motivated.

The scale this morning has indicated that I am six pounds lighter than I was when I weighed myself on Day 1.  I would be naive to actually believe I have lost six pounds, though.  Odds are it was a tip of the scale, lighter clothing than before, or the loss of excess water weight associated with "that time of the month" (I know you wanted to know ( Read more... )
